Material: Sealtex 200g

SEALTEX FABRIC TESTING Portwest conducts extensive testing on the Sealtex range to ensure it meets and exceeds EN343 waterproof standard. They use SATRA test house to perform hydrolysis  and hydrostatic test on Sealtex fabric.

The material is hydrolysed at a temperature of 120 degrees for 7.5 hours. It is then flexed 100,000 times according to SATRA  TM25:1992 and reviewed for cracking in fabric. No cracking indicates a high performance fabric. Sealtex fabric consistantly achieves top results in this test.

Hydrostatic testing indicates resistance to water penetration. SATRA's recommendation are waterproof garments should exceed a level of 300cm. Portwest Sealtex achieves 500+

The hydro static test is conducted with a rate of increase of water pressure equal to 60cm/minute at room temperature.  FABRIC: High Technology PU Coating on a flexible tricot knit. 100% Polyester. Total weight 200g
